In Tunisia, this condiment is known as Piment H'rouss, meaning lightly-crushed fresh peppers. Closely related to Harissa, which is made from heavily crushed dried peppers, this version is traditionally consumed in the winter months. A spoonful of these peppers is the perfect way to finish a steaming bowl of couscous, or serve alongside a plate of charcuterie or antipasto.
